Kids Cooking Class 24h Jan 2012

In order to be sustainable you have to educate as you are talking about something for the next generation. To educate you have to inspire otherwise there is not much point. When you have all three you can then work to protect the future of the oceans
That is why we have been holding the hands on cooking classes for kids at Fish & Co. The sustainable seafood cafe in Annandale
Watch the video of a previous children’s cooking class. The children aged from 9 upwards get to fillet their own fish and then make a delicious lunch, served at 1.30pm
In the last class we held there was mackerel with horse radish and mustard. They made a smoked tuna and fennel salad, An aromatic fish curry and some vietnamese prawn cakes.
In my many years of teaching children I have found if they make something they will eat it.
When was the last time your children ate fresh grilled mackerel that they had filleted themselves and loved it?
The day from 11-2 is packed full of fun and great recipes that the kids get to take home.
The next sustainable seafood cooking class for kids is on the 24th Jan 2012 -11am – 2pm

Spaces for the cooking class are selling fast. Price $55.00.
Call Fish & Co. The sustainable seafood cafe in Annandale Sydney on 9660 5575 and secure a place.

Make 2012 a green one and only source sustainable fish and seafood. You can now buy wet fish from us that is ethical and sustainably sourced so that you can cook it at home.
Best wishes from Tom kime and all the staff at Fish & Co.
