At Fish & Co.  Our aim is not only to provide delicious sustainable seafood to our diners, but, to teach them how to prepare it themselves. Our practical hands on cooking classes have been selling fast and were good  Christmas presents. The master of the grill course was a great success with participants learning how to prepare whole squid and making a grilled squid salad with green papaya and roasted peanuts.  I kept them busy with whole grilled Panang marinated fish and charmoulah marinated albacore tuna served with pomegranate couscous. There were a number of grilled vegetable side dishes that completed the meal that they created.

All the recipes come from my books Fish tales and street food, which are available for purchase from the website and at Fish & Co. The sustainable seafood restaurant in Annandale.

Our second wave of classes will really send ripples through your Kitchens

We are running six days of hands on cooking classes for kids. Perfect for the second half of the summer holidays. Age range is 8 -13 and all they need to bring is their enthusiasm for food and learning to cook.  It is always very exciting teaching young people to cook as you really see their confidence grow. By teaching then how to cook and prepare sustainable seafood

In these hands on classes, Tom will provide the children with top kitchen tips and the confidence to prepare and cook delicious dishes and seafood that will amaze your friends and family.
They will become a confident and safe cook,and be able to prepare a number of dishes including delicious sustainable fish and seafood.
There will be three different cooking days with different recipes so that the children can come to one day or all three.
Parents are invited for Lunch prepared by the kids at 12.30 or alternatively final pick up at 1.30pm

Cost of the class is $55.00 per person per class minimum age 8
